The Foundations: 2001–2014
The story of eduVation Club began in 2001 with a clear conviction: education should engage people, respond to real needs, and prepare them for life beyond the classroom.
The following years became a period of practice, experimentation, and growth. Work in language education, teacher development, curriculum design, translation, and educational management gradually shaped our enduring principles: relevance, participation, cultural awareness, and the connection between knowledge and action.
From Remote Learning to Educational Technology
In 2014, this experience led to ARAD Remote Learning, combining face-to-face instruction with distance education before remote learning became commonplace. It explored how education could extend beyond the classroom without losing its human character.
ARAD later evolved into TOP Training Center and TOP EdTech Center. Course delivery expanded into curriculum development, teacher training, digital assessment, adaptive placement testing, and learning-management solutions. Technology became an essential part of our work, but always as a means of strengthening education, not replacing its human foundations.
The Formation of eduVation Club
As our work expanded, its purpose became clearer. Languages, technology, and professional training could no longer be treated as separate territories. Contemporary learners and organisations needed them to work together.
eduVation Club was formed to provide that common ground: an overarching platform connecting education, professional development, technology, management, and leadership. It offers academies and partners a shared academic and strategic foundation, not a fixed model exported unchanged, but a framework that can respond intelligently to different cultures and contexts.
A Growing International Structure
Today, this framework is represented through two academies with distinct but complementary roles.
Hague eduVation Academy, based in the Netherlands, is the European continuing professional development arm of the network. It offers multidisciplinary CPD across education, languages, hospitality, business, management, leadership, and wider areas of workplace and professional development.
Bali eduVation Academy, based in Indonesia, is the network’s Southeast Asian centre for teacher education and professional pedagogy. Its work includes teacher preparation, continuing professional development, practice-based pedagogical training, institutional collaboration, and programmes designed to strengthen educational practice.
Both academies share the wider vision of eduVation Club while remaining responsive to their own professional, educational, and cultural environments. The same structure can support future academies, regional initiatives, and international partnerships.
Language, Leadership and Life Crafts
At the centre of our current approach is Life Crafts: the knowledge and capabilities people need to communicate, collaborate, work, lead, and respond thoughtfully to contemporary challenges.
This approach brings soft and hard skills into the same conversation. Language becomes more than grammar and vocabulary; it becomes a means of expressing ideas, understanding perspectives, and moving confidently across cultures and professions. Management and leadership extend beyond organisational titles to include self-management, sound judgement, collaboration, responsibility, and ethical action.
Three priorities run across our work: Cultural Fluency, Sustainability, and Mindfulness. Together, they connect personal development with professional competence and turn education from something people possess into something they can meaningfully apply.
As eduVation Club evolves, we continue to build partnerships and programmes that connect languages with leadership, research with practice, and international perspectives with local relevance.
